About My Safe Foods

My Safe Foods is a tool for neurodivergent people who rely on a trusted set of foods to get through the day. It exists because safe foods are often misunderstood, and the people who depend on them deserve something built specifically for them.

What are safe foods?

Safe foods are the small set of foods a person consistently feels able to eat. For many neurodivergent individuals, these foods provide stability and predictability in a world that can feel overwhelming. They are not a phase or a preference. They are a genuine need.

Safe foods can also stop working. A recipe change, a texture shift, a bad experience can remove a food from the list. When that happens, it matters. This app gives you a place to track it.

Who it is for

My Safe Foods is built for people with ASD, ADHD, AuDHD, and anyone who identifies with the concept of safe foods. It is also useful for parents, carers, and support workers who manage food for someone else.

Our values

Built by the community

My Safe Foods is developed by someone who is part of the neurodivergent community and relies on safe foods personally. It is not a wellness app or a diet tracker. It is a practical tool built from lived experience.
